Large formation bombing raid from Lille

This was an unfinished video (cause I died, lol) but it shows how many people can fly together in WWII Online. Nothing better than flying a bombing run with 40 other people. Some doing air support other gunners and then the bombers themselves.

Its about $10/mth. Thousands can play at one time. Usually the graphics are limited to seeing only 120 people at once to save cpu power.

Very nice, what software did you use to make/render the video? What codec? Way better quality than mine turn out using Vegas Studio trial...

I used Fraps 2.0 and believe it or not Windows Movie Maker. Codec..hmmm..cant fully remember as I did it 2 years ago, but probably .wmv as it's the only codec that doesnt lock up Movie Maker, lol.

Yes, some of the planes have Tailgunners that can be manned by someone other than the pilot. This is my fave position in game.

so i see that you can be a bomber or a fighter pilot, but is it possible to be like, the machine gunner for a bomber plane controlled by another player? as in while the other guy flies, you fend off enemy fighters?

Just noticed it was a few years old though. A pre-v1.19 movie. We have v1.29 now with an open Beta testing for v1.30. :)
