Jazz Tauranga New Zealand, Aaron Saxon and friends at Orange Zephyr

Trevor Braunius Quartet 14th Jan 2009 at the Orange Zephyr. Absent - Trevor Braunius! That's Aaron Saxon filling in for Trevor on the guitar, Miles on the sax, Simon on the tubs and Glen on Bass. This is the first time these guys had ever played together, pretty cool huh? If you are in Tauranga on a Wednesday, head on down to the Zephyr on Wharf St...beautiful food, great music and good people.
Apologies to Glen who doesn't feature much in this song...I was sipping Monteiths between moving the camera and then hello the song was over!

UPDATE: Sadly the Zephyr is no more...huge respect to the owner Aaron and the awesome staff for creating a restaurant/bar/venue/meeting place with such a great atmosphere. Can't wait to see what you come up with next...until then, have a decent holiday brother. We'll be there to support you when you're ready. Let the good times roll!
