  • why isn't there a camcorder in the same price range with all these features and video quality??? would it be that hard for Canon to change the shape of a 7D to make a camcorder with the ability to use EOS lenses?!?

  • @florinmldvn82ro: Thanks for your reply anyway. I hoped that it would be available for the coming successor, 7D mk II maybe!

  • @ansiaaa666 : I think there is one and its called the C300. Not sure about the model number exactly. But there is one.

  • I am using a 5d Mark2. He said that 24f/s are better for movies and 30f/s is for online. I have shot footage on both framerates and can't tell the difference. Is there some sort of hidden difference in quality if you want to shoot for movie production? How does this work? Can someone help?

  • @ansiaaa666 Excelent question.

  • @quanvantruong wow you're such a noob....SLR have Manual focus that means you turn off the AF and focus whatever you want giving yourself full control which professional film makers do....WHO THE HELL USES AUTOFOCUS ON VIDEO....why waste your money buying a 7d when you don't know basics like this LOL

  • @quanvantruong I bet you got the answer in the next video :)

  • @quanvantruong I believe you mean full time autofocus which by the way is not available on the 7 nor the 5DMkII. You need to manual focus all the time. Another way around is to half-press the shutter button in order to focus but it's not the best thing to do. There are also follow focus and other stuff around there but you know if it's worth it.

  • Hi, thanks for the tutorial! I've got the 7D for a couple of weeks but realize that it cannot autofocus when filming even though AF switch on lens is enabled. Could you please advise if AF filming is available on the 7D? (so that we do not have to press the AF knob again and again) Thanks a lot!

  • what does eos video mean?
