This little known dance band gives a good rendition of this instrumental tune which I have also heard recorded by Charlie Kunz Casani Club Orchestra and Jack Hylton's bands.

For dance bands without a recording contract or smaller provincial oufits, the Octacros label would prove to be a way in to the recording studios.

Ah,the very rare octacross!Heard as people entered and left all those 30s cinemas i suppose?I think John Reynder was the conductor on the "Harmony Heaven"clip on here.
