Emo Crybaby Rant of Immense Shame (This is a repost)

Some poor emo girl gets up on a high horse because she watched the Fox news report about emo kids. About halfway through is when the lulz begin.It's not so much that making fun of emo kids is the case here, it's just that it seems as if she doesn't realize where her music stems from. She seems oblivious to the fact that punk, and hardcore were important in the development of emo, it's just that with punk and hardcore they reason they were pissed off were for political and social reasons, not because they had a bad day, or that they got made fun of. I don't care about any scene in particular, if music sounds good to me, I will listen to it, if not I won't. Also I refuse to align myself with a genre of music to define who I am as a person. It's just another form of consumerism.
