The Finale to the Santa Teresa Drumstick Challenge is the Drill Down. The Drill Down is a test of precision and accuracy in which many commands are given and as each person makes a mistake they fall out. The last one marching wins. This year was a tie between Alan Almario, and David Lambert (who had a broken collarbone from a recent biking/ATV accident)

i teach a band in California and that shit wouldnt fly even in the most crapiest of bands here. i would have taken out literally more than half the band with all the mistakes i saw in the first 2 "commands"

We did commands this year and we dont use our instruments in the drill down.

lol they werent even getting any complicated moves. my director piles double to left and double to the right flanks right after each other

@zachtbone Actually, you are supposed to drag your foot when you backstep. It's the Drag Step, but the heel can't touch the ground.
