I'm a big time hunter in Ontario, and I'm curious.. do you live in one of those parts of the bush you can open carry your ruger, due to the fact you'll probably run into a bear? Great Videos I just subscribed!

Did you have the barrel cut down or did it come like that ?

@CampCook12345 I think the bear just wanted some honey and didn't want to bother anyone, especially the guy with the gun! :) The gun is great though, I am thinking to get one of these for myself.

@CampCook12345 Thanks! One more question. I know that's quite a large gun, but putting the weight aside do you think it's possible for one to conceal one of those with the 4.2" barrel? Not talking about legalities, just the physical ability.

I have a remote area ATC (authorization to carry) for Alberta/BC = remote area handgun carry for the defense of my life and the life of others.
I was able to get the permit because I was working as a self-employed free miner.
