Hospitals Safe from Disasters (Jet Li)

United Nations, New York, 13 October 2009 - On the occasion of the International Day for Disaster Reduction (IDDR) 2009, commemorated on 14 October, World Health Organization (WHO) Goodwill Ambassador Jet Li recorded a video message. The theme for this year's message is "Hospitals Safe from Disasters."

The video message is mixed with footage of Jet Li in the Maldives during the tsunami and in China after the 2008 quake.

Jet Li speaks in the message in Chinese with English subtitles.

nice, wish you all very well in getting the message out for.... a desire for disaster proof hospitals, in the event of earthquakes and tsunami disasters, and if so concerned hospital ships would save alot more lives, at these coastal zones, and greater access to the world and supplies
