TR4 Rope Glitch

Sorry for the lack of videos lately. I don't have much to say, other than that the first segment of Temple of Dawn is recorded, but won't be uploaded until the whole level is done with.

Anyway, about this video. For some reason I thought this glitch was already widely known, but turns out it wasn't, so I made this quick video to show it.

To perform, you need a rope with a platform directly beneath from which you can reach the rope with a straight standing jump. Take a standing jump and press backwards after takeoff for Lara to shift slightly backwards in the air. Now grab the rope and you will instantly swing at maximum speed.

This rope is pretty much the only rope in TR4 with a platform directly beneath it. As for TRC, there doesn't seem to be any, but the glitch would probably work the same in custom TRC levels.
