I've done my part: the 2 most important things Americans can do:

1) not reproduce

2) go vegan

For the past 2+ months I've tried to live without a car, using an electric-powered tricycle, but I find that to be quite a hardship, which I would not recommend others try - not until they made roads for cycles - which I would not recommend, either, since that would tear out more green space. Electric cars powered by as much solar and wind as possible are the answer.

What will happen when oil runs out in the USA, we all know that the USA does not have enough oil, and half of imports from other countries will do the following. If the USA does not adopt a new way of energy, it will be very bad for the USA, and the economy, we know that decades of U.S. attempts to occupy Islamic countries, because they are rich in oil, and just look at Dubai, Qatar, the city that day by day grow as mushrooms,

Very expensive oil means very expensive everything else and fewer and fewer jobs, goods, food, etc. Very expensive oil doesn't just mean expensive gas. It means expensive everything. It means inflation that will recover only when supply is regained. Supply is finite. You ever drink a coke through a straw...well it starts spluttering before it's empty. Let's just say we're starting to splutter. When that hits us full force. It will be chaos.
