Why fly when you can travel the 1000km between Guangzhou (Canton) near Hong Kong to Wuhan - which is halfway up China on the Yangtze River - in about three hours. The journey can be done in luxury and costs about $115. A very nice way to go. The electric trains are hypermodern, the ride is so smooooth and they even feed you en route.

  • lol just because china used to be a communist country, it seems like every video about China on youtube has negative comments. copyrights can be purchased nowdays, china purchased a lot since 1990s. When westerners took the technology of gun powder, paper making,Compass, etc from China and then made improvements, did they pay for copyrights, are they considered "copy"? if they can do it, why cant Chinese do it? Stop whinging now

  • Oh yea! FASTEST way to get heaven.

  • @solelyposhbelle29 You're clearly out of touch with modern affairs. Japan is in more debt than the United States and China is soaring, SOARING, SOARING HIGGHHHH LIKE A UNICORN!

  • China? Bitch please, JAPAN for the win.

  • U pple suck....hehe am jokin nice vid.

  • one more thing, the max speed of the Chinese bullet trains have already lowered from 350 to 300 since Huly 2011, simply due to the safety problem... what a joke but this is a fact

  • Chinese bullet train is just a kind of engineering for Chinese's face

  • @paulyrockjapan

the event in July 2011 made it come true

  • wow train is so empty

  • idk how china tells the difference between train stations and airports cause this vid is looking like a aiport

  • face it, americans r jealous cz they cant afford this technology

  • @Ravensteinzh

This is the CRH3 the Chinese version of the Velaro. The Maglev as you can search on youtube doesn't look like that and it runs only in Shanghai. This train was going to Wuhan from Guangzhou, and the fastest non rail train is the Japanese maglev test train while the Chinese holds the record of having the fastest operational bullet train the CRH-380A
