That is so annoying. My Sun conure does this all the time, then screams when he has no food. I've had him for over 25 years now. I also own a Yellow Naped Amazon, also over 25 years old. Wonder if they will outlive me?

I've had a few birds who do that in the beginning. I had a hugely messy canary.
But he learned after a while. Most of them do.

I've noticed that Chili Pepper sounds different than most other Jendays that I've met. I'm not sure why?!

Does your Jenday talk? Mine does, I thought they all did...My Rico does the same thing with his bowl. He sweeps his beak in and all the food flies. They are so funny!

Yes, he can talk a little bit. He says "Hi Chili", "Hello", and "Good morning", along with a lot of muttering in a mix of conurese and English.
