This version is good, but when greg howe played guitar on this song it had more rythym, and the licks were amazing (so were the ones in this one), and alot of whammy which I love!

If you knew anything about allan you would know hes all about moods and feels he wouldnt have the time to waste on metal licks that run off forever hes got a more contemporary sound ..

Allan is Fredriks biggest influence, but he has definitely crafted his own sound. This video just proves that Allan is indeed the greatest.

listen to the solo in bleed, obzen, in death is life in death is death and you'll here it. of course Im not talking about the djenty crushing riffs fredrick plays Im talking about the way they approach polyrhythms in there soloing.
besides if you ask half the guys in the progmetal scene who there influences are a lot of them will tell you guys like allan holdsworth, listen to lets say tosin abasi from Animals as Leaders and tell me you cant here holdsworth in his style
