@pricture I guess it's just reasonable to assume the more money/power EA accumulates the more they start to think they are doing everything right. Of course a bigger fan base means you have to please a broader mass also. Their actions seem natural looking at it like that. But the question is really if they can handle something, that is important for some, with care and responsibility. They need to continually keep that in mind to bring out the best in their work. Time will tell.

@Magikpotion I know what you mean man, any game EA gets involved with something horribly wrong happens. Its like how Activision abuses the same style of game over and over just for more money. Sad....

I'm honestly not that excited for Generals 2 when it was announced either. :[

@Magikpotion I wouldn't buy this POS to save the life of my own mother. Internet connection needed to play! #$%@ that! I wouldn't even buy a "good" game w/that requirement, let alone a shitty one! I am in agreement w/you. IMO, C&C Generals was the last good game in this series. RA3/C&C3 sucked ass. At least I still have the Decade of C&C/RA pack, plus nearly every RTS game made before 2007. But I wish I could find people to play some of them with online, from time to time.

@pricture Wouldn't be the first game series that EA ruined. I hope all them people supporting EA feel good about themselves. I totally lost track of C&C after generals and then I see this... I just don't know what to say... it's just sad really.

are you guys who are mentioning starcraft even familiar with starcraft? Because the reasons why C&C4 is screwed up, to me, is for far bigger problems/changes than simply a few forgivable similarities to starcraft... for example, the walker being a dumb idea because it takes the traditional whole base building and resource mining aspect out of the game!
