some medicine man dont want money all they want is food and for their patient to get well and have a "INSA'I'KASE NIZHONI," (harmonious mind.)

An enemy way ceremony is currently a 4 day, 3 night ceremony. In the old days it would even be a 5 day ceremony, depending on the distance people had to travel between the original ceremony and what is commonly referred to as 1st night (these days) The singing and dancing that occurred at night is a form of getting the patient to get back in balance with Mother Earth, Father Sun/Sky and relatives affected by his/her infliction.
And, no not all medicine men are ripoff artists.
