  • Kihon Kumite are very hard. They look really simple, but when you do them they take a lot more practice and effort than you'd think.

  • He is amazing. These look so simple, but anyone who knows them knows these are soo demanding.

  • @trslickpie you are totally right. I'm learning Sanbon sets 1 through 4 and they require a great deal of accuracy, timing, and speed. Wado is really a bad ass martial art. No fluffy moves. almost all Sanbon ends up with a junzuki to the floating ribs or else an empi to face. ouch!

  • It's a lot of work to get the correct form down. . working then without effort will make them look lazy.

  • @trslickpie Really? They look very very simple...no biggie. What do they require so much practice & effort?

  • @trslickpie What? Hard? These are not hard, and thats because these must work without effort. If these would be hard, they would be useless.

  • A message for the ones who are calling this Shotokan and gay... First of all... Read the freaking title! This is Wado-Ryu ! Not Shotokan, and also it's a style of speed and avoiding.

  • To some extent I have to concur.

  • yes it was only the basics and thats all

  • um.... shotokan was the first karate introduced to Japan from Okinawa. Alot of Japanese Karate COMES from shotokan.
