Hell yeah, let's put touchscreens in everything thus making those things a lot more expensive.

Looks nice, but doesn't make sense. Arrange your pictures and documents with really productive software on your notepad or notebook and send it to the printer. Why do you need yet another computer (with an integrated printer) with yet another proprietary software, if you already have one?
There's only one exception: if you really print many photos directly from your camera. But that is not "Next generation", that's a niche.
