As a follower of Jesus,a few comments for the conversation:Those of the 'religious' stance;it's good to stand up for what you believe but in doing so are you defending yourself or God?Keep in mind God is big enough to defend himself.Those of the 'non-religious' stance;there are many people in the world who believe many strange things.Life is a mystery,we will never fully understand it. What's important is Keith Green achieved recognition for a great accomplishment. Lets keep our comments to that
@wearegettingthere so Harvard did a study, so what? That's sort of like saying all Phd's will come to the same conclusions because of their intelligence. I have had prayers answered as well as all Christians. That includes the Christian professors at Harvard.
Forgiveness of sin is an answer to prayer, and Gods work in the Christian's life doesn't end there.
If you have no faith in the study, why quote it? It just irritates me when we "people of faith" can't even enjoy a video without trolls like you spouting your garbage. Go away, I wasn't even talking to you.
@kpdsza You're a clown. I have do not, as a matter of fact, have "faith" in Harvard. I know nothing about the details of the study in question, NOR do you. But just look at your thin-skinned "...you are such hypocrites. You insult people...as if you are above such things."
Just like the book-burning, red-faced, fatwa-spewing Muslims overseas, your widdle religious feewings get hurt, and your resentment and vindictiveness boil up.
@telejimmy57 People like you are such hypocrites. You insult people "of faith" as if you are above such things. Yet you are as much a person "of faith" as anyone. It's just that I have faith in God, you have faith in Harvard. I trust God's integrity, you trust Harvards.
Keith's music was vitally important to me during the 1980s. And despite the fact that I've since emerged from the fog of the Christ delusion, I still do enjoy - for various reasons - listening to the old Keith Green catalog. I was unaware of this Steve Allen encounter, and was pleased and entertained.

@kpdsza "simple as that"
Should I really have expected anything different from a person of faith?

@telejimmy57 Which is a backhanded way of saying I'm right. Harvard got the result they wanted, simple as that.

@kpdsza "Harvard doing a study on prayer is like Obama doing a study on pro-life."
I know that must have seemed clever in the moment (and probably even inspired a grin), but take my advice, stick with your day job.

It's tragic the man died so young.
