Now that's how a Man duels. Very classy.

I don't know how duels went about in the Old West, but I recon the dueling stance was more like Everett's there, and less like a front-facing horse stance with the pistol in the holster...like you see in many Western movies. Viggo's character looks very time-period authentic.
Love this movie. True Grit remake was good too.

John Wayne is full of shit

This was one weird ass western, why the hell did Viggo even shoot him in the first place?
-
Han shot first
-
Yeah LOL =D.. specially when his life was dependent on it =D
an end to a promising career. who knows what bragg would have achieved had he survived this duel, or rather run away from it. he would have changed American History =p LOL

@downtownskipper Well, Viggo did call him a backshooting coward, so that would have been right up Bragg's alley to shoot him in the back when he was walking out, all though it was definitly smart on the part of Bragg to check the gun first to make sure it was 1) Loaded (LOL) and 2) actually was functional.
I would have probably just shot him from one of the saloon windows, I mean everyone already knew Bragg was a yellow belly. No surprise if he took the chicken route, right? :P

If i was bragg, i would have shot Viggo in the back when he was returning after placing the gun on the counter!! =D
LOL =p
This was a movie, in my opinion, that should have done much, much better at the box office than it did. An excellent western. It ranks right up there with 'Open Range' & '3.10 To Yuma'. Viggo Mortensen was great.
