1x12 Bergantino cabinet, Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0. After getting about 50 requests to try to do this song with a Fender GL bass, I thought I should place this on here. It's not the best version, but neither was the version with the Modulus. I did not have the Genz Benz cabinet active during this recording. I really love the Bergantino cabinet with the Fender Jazz. On the EQ, I kept everything flat, but with the mids boosted (via a button, not the EQ). From Permanent Waves 1980.. among the band's best records, in my opinion. Maybe someday I will throw Jacob's Ladder on here, who knows.

  • U know what's a really challenging and great song, "Freewill" by Rush t's a great song but it's tough to learn cuz of the bass solo and then the guitar solo and also cuz the tempo keeps changing drastically I'm still learning the bass solo it's hard and takes time and skill I know the riff the pre-chorus and chorus all of them except the solos but I'm learning them I suggest that song u'll have fun playing just the main riff lol

  • I have done Freewill on here, and a bit badly... it's in my videos already.. I think both Spririt and Freewill both are hard... I play both better normally, than on here.

  • awesome! you should do malignant narcissism. the bass part sounds cool.

  • thanks.. I can do Malig Narc.. but it's not up to par with posting on here.. not yet, anyway.. I will do that sometime.. it's a tough song for me.

  • @BassDude50000 it says geddy lee on it. That and the block inlays. Other than those two things there's no difference.
