@Pokebacon123 I don't think this is what creators had in mind while writing this line, but in my country whenever a student did bad on an oral test and don't want to get a 2 (polish E grade), he usually says "pan da 3" which is something around "mister, please give me a D" in polish. This tradition/joke is known as Panda 3. Honetsly, I think that this "my teacher is a panda" was just a random thing that came to creator's minds, but still, first time I heard that I instantly thought of Panda 3.
