Showing a great built-in feature of OS X Leopard. I use this when I do my live stream, and has become a very useful tool.

  • Great attempt, but what app are you accessing? you dont mention this, also do a video that does a Remote Desktop out side a network, then and only then have you done - achived a true remote desktop.

  • @dcovnton101 This is built in with OS X and it was on the same network, not outside the network.

  • @dcovnton101 there is no app, he says a few times "it is built in" and that is what he showed you exactly how to do, access it.

  • @homoeotube yeah realy thank you im gonna test it on my powerpc is it fast you think ? or im gonna run the new lion beta its out on the apple site !

  • @persian998 yes

  • can you run 10.6.4 remote dektop on 10.5.8 ?

  • also works with linux ubuntu using the 192.168.0.* what ever the ip is

  • is it like vista where you need a password to see the screen and to control it at all you need to accept it or with a mac if you open the remote desktop can you just go to Request Control and there you go? I know that in like a mac school without any permission the teacher can be at the board when her MacBook just starts working without her using it so like do you always need to accept the control and view?
