hi i maaged to make the rounded corners easy thanks so much, but when i save the image and paste elsewhere, I also see the square corners of the back "layer" which is the grey and white checkered texture, which i thought indicated there was no background... hopefully someone actually gets what i'm saying coz i dont think i was clear enuff... any ideas appreciated. great video though!

How did you save the file, only PNG and GIF allow for transparent backgrounds if you used any other format like JPG or TIFF you will see the background layer.

If you follow all of the directions it should not, however if it still does then after you dubble click the background layer do a select all then press delete.
