@17soulable There is no obelisk on phobos unless you are perfectly allright with an obelisk being about 15 to 30 meters wide and weirdly shaped? There is however one or more structures of that size on Phobos that portrays a shadow, thats about it. Now the interesting thing, is how such a structure came about? scarring from meteorites or electrical discharges?

@1:50 I think this channel held a decorative bead of gold or bronze. It would have been poured in, so that the molten metal would flow into the channel and the many bore holes at 90 degrees, these would hold the main bead in place in the absence of modern epoxies.
