wow. right now i am roughly at the same stage as you are in the video. (roughly just before 3 months). i am also dealing with the scars/peeling of the areas of previously affected skin. this is very easy to peel and i have to find a way to keep that under control. i also do feel lethargic. i am not depressed or anything, but i have little motivation to do stuff. anyway, i just wanted to talk and offer my support and hopefully i can find some support too=)

@drulady Just curious, do your parents or other immediate family members have bad vision?

Ya I have a question...marry me?

I timed my accutane treatment really well, I started a week before the summer holidays! ahah
So when I go back, it'll be week 8.
I have moderate acne, cystic on my back, yet, that's clearing up the fastest.
It's mid week 3 at the moment and I've noticed improvements on my nose, chin and back. Every spot that comes up dries out really really fast, meaning it cures quicker. Accutane is the best thing I've ever done, I can't wait for the end so I can live a normal life!

man...im experiencing dry eyes, nose bleeds, very dry skin all over, extremely chapped lips, muscle aches, joint pains. the only thing i havent encountered yet on accutane is depression.(i dont know how)

I took accutane about 3yrs. ago and now my vision sucks.. not saying it will happen to you but.... be careful.

thanks! accutane saved my life. i was completely ashamed of myself. i had so many family members urging me to go on accutane but i refused until last summer. now im completely clear. if you ever need anything or want to know anything, ask me. ive been accutane for 4 months now. i feel great. dosage at 80mgs a day

i'm going on accutane in 2 weeks i'm so excited but i have no emotional support what so ever! no one really understands how much this acne kills people's social life.how r u doing with ur treatment? is it any better now?
Does your skin stay permanently drier after the cure? Or will it be just like it was before accutane? Do you feel that you are dry or is that just a myth? People told me that the skin stays permanently drier :( people who have tried :(

Your skin is supposed to be drier than you were before the accutane, pretty much where you were before puberty hit. Your skin will be less oily than the beginning, but will get back some oil once you are off the medication. This is how it helps you to keep the acne away.

so i guess going in a jacquizzi on a cruise ship is not smart lol.

lol, probably not the smartest, but I'd say do it anyway, just make sure to drown yourself in lotion shortly after.

what face products do you use? (face wash, moisturizer, etc.)

I basically use a soft creamy face wash, Philosophy brand is my favorite. I started sneaking in just a bit of face scrub now, since I'm on month 6 and am trying to get rid of the last bits of scarring. For moisturizer, I use IQ Derma, Philosophy, and as high of an SPF as I can. I am also using some eye creams for moisture, since I don't want any sort of dryness creating fine lines around my eyes. The best advice that I can give is just to invest in a great moisturizer, and u should be just fine
