@goytabr I fully agree my friend!

@dsmajid, between the first and the second videos you cut the best part: David Gilmour's breathtaking guitar solo. You owe us that!

@acomposer4U, true that it was a fake concert, as there was no audience but the technicians and the ghosts of the Romans who died in the Vesuvius eruption. It was not really "live" but in name, even though it was concert-like. Of course, this doesn't change the fact that it was and still is absolutely fabulous music by an extraordinary band at its prime.

@borimirtheboring Yes. It's called ( I believe ) Pink Floyd Live at Pompeii....or something to that effect. They made a concert MOVIE there long ago and what you are seeing here is just a small clip of that movie. It's a great movie if you like the Floyd. I loved it!

I want to see more city of Pompeii is a partially buried Roman town-city near modern Naples in the Italian region of Campania, in the territory of the comune of Pompei. Along with Herculaneum, Pompeii was destroyed and completely buried during a long catastrophic eruption of the volcano Mount Vesuvius spanning two days in the year AD 79. The eruption buried Pompeii under 4 to 6 m (13 to 20 ft) of ash and pumice, and it was lost for nearly 1700 years before its accidental rediscovery in 1749.

@TheTennispro96 Pink Floyd was truthfully the best

why the fuck would you play to no audience? Obviously when you are playing for the gods. Duh.

@timbleuher Fink Ployd and Mostly Autumn both cover Pink Floyd and do it like it was meant to be done.
Remember the band is advancing in years and the remaining members rarely get together apart from over dinner, so if you want it live that is your option.
Pink Floyd was not a once in a lifetime band. They were one band, there will never be another like them. You cannot duplicate this, that is why music will never be like this again.

@MarcosFabianTv there's a lot of great stuff out there nowadays, you've just got to dig a little deeper to strike oil.
