Oh, please. I suppose they should have let everyone into the thing for free. All the millions of Tea Partiers that there are. I'm sure there would have been room. No, instead local groups sent representatives and the fees covered the expenses of hosting the event. Palin wasn't the only fee they had to cover. And the press wasn't barred.

I've always liked Dennis. I don't agree with him always, but I've always said that if more conservatives made their arguments with as much humor and intelligence as Dennis did, I'd respect them a lot more. However, I can't at all get behind him putting his lot in with Palin. How he could pin his vote on an intellectually uninterested Jesus freak quitter who can't even serve her whole term boggles my mind. I can see him going for McCain, but Palin? She's void, nothing but talking points. Fail.

The Tea Baggers are in fighting, and Dick Armey has turned it into his own money making racket. It is absolutely laughable.
They are having a Convention, they have paid Palin a 100,000 to speak and they bar the press. The average person can't afford to attend, but now who are the elitists again?
They stand for nothing. They have no purpose or a message. The only thing they have made clear is that they hate the fact that we have a Black man as a President.
