The KGB - Fortune and Fame

The K.G.B. was a band formed in the 1990s in Oakland, California. The K.G.B. recorded their first demo at San Francisco's Toast Studios, and a second demo at Oakland's Sharkbite Studios. The second demo led to a record deal with DreamWorks Records, with the band's first release, The Space Cadet EP, recorded at Oakland's Studio 880. The following year the band released their first full length self titled album. The band have since remained unsigned, and performing less often over the years. On September 18, 2008, The K.G.B. announced a reunion show scheduled for October 25 as a fundraiser for Barack Obama's Presidential campaign.

This band should of been much bigger than they were... In terms of the whole ska-punk music wave i think they came a little late into the scene. In my opinion their only album had a really good feel to it and i wish this music is still popular... i dont really mind all the rap and pop artists that come into the spotlight and fade away 5 years later... I miss when artists of rock/ punk bands had longevity... The KGB deserved more than they got.
