This is the first video and location of a great day exploring with Nixzor.
He did the filming, i did the photos.
A beautiful abandoned monastery with some nice architecture.

  • As usual you do not disapoint and beautiful doesn't begin to describe how good this was! I love how you capture the lighting! The emotion of this place lives on through the artistry of your camerawork! -Mara

  • @nagaempress Thanks alot for such great and kind comment Mara!!!

iam glad to hear that i do not disappoint, and hopefully also not in the future.

  • Really, really like your video's! The combination of video, then a photograph of a subject in that video and the appropriate music creates a very special atmosphere. Sometimes it is an atmosphere of amazement and sometimes of sadness, especially the explorations of hospitals which are abandoned for a just a short time. Very impressing! Really like them!

As for this particular video: can you give me title of the music you used? Thanks!

  • @retlawz64 Thank you for that awesome comment.

I always try to put the atmosphere of that location in my video's. its always difficult...

iam glad to hear that it succeded!!!

The just abandoned hospitals is wat i like the most to explore, hope to do a lot of them in the future.

The main music is from Rob Dougan - Theres only me

  • @retlawz64 Just wanna echo what this guy said. The way the vids are put together is very professional. I've only posted two of my own explorations (working on others but usually too busy) and neither are a fraction as good as yours.

  • @fraggenaught Thanks for that huge compliment!

i bet you will become better as me.

Iam never really satisfied with the result of my own work, many things can get better, like the filmed footage or more detail pictures. But thats always difficuld under exciting/stressing circumstances.

But iam happy to hear you like the results ;)

  • Man, I'm speechless, and jealous! lol. I wish the US had awesome places like this to explore, but they are far and few. Great work again, Orteca!

  • @orteca Thanks for the reply. "Like" doesn't come close. I love it. I get a lot of inspiration from watching your vids. I'm trying to plan a couple of expeditions for later this year. Maybe you could post a comment or a vid showing what kind of equipment you guys use for your expeditions?

  • cool. would love to go there. crazy that such a beautiful building is completely empty.
