  • Thom is 100% right. We need to vote out all the corporate owned politicians which sadly is most of them. President Obama looks to be another one. Unless he decides that being a great President is more important than paying back favors.

I pray that Obama realizes that he owes the American People more than he owes large corporations, and maybe one day these large corporations will realize that a strong and vibrant middle class will be better for them in the long run

  • Actually the bank is england has been a state owned institution since 1946 because parliment decided it was too dangerous to let a private company control the british enconomy.

  • Lets keep in mind that Banks are really the only important corporations . The Fed as The Bank of England are private. They make Wallmart look like a mom and pop corner store.

  • Maybe we can have that case (Santa Clara County vs So Pacific R.R.) published w/o the head notes, and have a contest: "What rule of law was established, and how was the argument presented?"

  • Thom, I've couldn't of said it better.
