The song- and all Peanuts songs- were written by jazz pianist Vince Gauraldi. The man is a genius. He has many cds which are easily available.

The song was written by Guaraldi, but that voice HAS to be Jack Sheldon (the same voice behind "I'm Just a Bill," and "Conjunction Junction" on Schoolhouse Rock). Nobody else sounds like that.

I remember watching this as a kid over 30 years ago, on a thursday. I only ever saw it once... unti now, but I remembered it decades later.

Good times.
