Have me as your personal online trainer at http://myhitechtrainer.com/tihealthandfitness

Hey all, All Nautral/Drug Free Tuan here with my latest video on my squat. With about 18 days left before Nov. 14, which is the USAPL Longhorn Open Powerlifting Meet, I am in my last workouts. One thing for damn sure, this is the worst of all the weeks. You do feel your best everytime you lift and this was one of those days. I had to lift this week at 95% of my 1 rep max and do 2 sets of 2 reps. Plus, I used spin clamps, which even added more weight making the total wieght 510 lbs. But I was able to finish my sets and the rest of my workout. I hope the rest of my lifts go better than what I did on this one. Hope you enjoy my pain. Take care.

  • Man, you're strong and all but you talk way too much in these videos. You don't need to count out the weight and explain why. Just lift it.

  • @wookieeassassin you would be amazed how many peoople as me about everthing you just said I do not need to talk about. Why do you think I make the videos the way I make them. Its called getting feedback from your audience. I have made note of what you have to say, but you are not the majority. So if you do not like the videos, just do not watch

  • Doesnt squatting that much screw up the joints in your knee?

  • Squats & Knees. Squatting deep is bad for your knees. Thats a myth youll hear a lot.

Some will advise you to do Partial Squats, staying above parallel, to avoid knee injury. This is wrong info. WRONG!

Your knee joint is strongest in a fully flexed or full extended position, not the positions in-between. Partial Squats only strengthen your knees & quads, not your glutes & hamstrings. This causes muscle imbalances & thus injuries.

  • Good luck Tuan. I'm sure you'll do great. Now I'm off to the chiropractor because I think ruptured a disc merely watching how much you lift. Warn me next time. As always, you are the man.

  • got 1st place at the meet. have a vid on it. 523 lbs squat!!!

Hey I was wondering what is your opinion on ATG squats - full ROM - beyond parallel? Some say to do them others say it risks injury - what do you suggest for guy whos like 160 lbs at 5'10 - just getting into lifting.
