PACURH Regional Update 9-6-10

If you can't tell I may have been a bit tired and out of it : )

HEY PACURH! HOW ARE YOU DOING!?! I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend because I know I did! I am happy to bring you a few updates from just some of the things the RBD has been working on and I am quite excited about all of it!

· FIRST WELCOME CAMEO TO THE ADAF POSITION! Hosted at OSU she will bring a great deal of experience with her work from PACURH 08 and time she has spent in the NRHH boardroom. If you haven't had the chance to say hi to her yet please do she is pretty bomb.

· The RBD retreat was august 13th-15th right HERE at my host school San Francisco State University. We spent a lot of time getting to know each other and work on great things for the region! We started setting up things for PACURH 2010 and deciding a lot of dates for the rest of the year. We may of played a few awesome games that you may see in boardroom. OH we also got to make these cool mirrors which reflect our goals for the year.

· The RBD has also decided what regional committees PACURH will have. The two awesome things about these committees is first YOU can help chair them and secondly anyone from your campus can apply to be on the committees. The RBD is taking the stance that we want to offer more services to more than a select few who get to join us for conference. Look out for RA, programming and many more new resources and committees to come this year. More details coming soon.

· Speaking of committees the National Committee Chair applications went in a bit ago and I will say that a few RBD frogs did apply. We all want to see you apply and show all the other regions what we are made of. The best thing about National Committees is that you get to meet people from a lot of other regions or even from one of the National Offices. More information is coming soon!

· Two more things. Remember that semester school registration is due on September 24th for PACURH 2010 and our next regional chat will be on the 13th at 9pm via aim. If you haven't had the chance to join us for a chat before please look here to get more information. You wont want to miss it because we will have bidding information, Conference updates, committee information and much much more.
