DOHC= Double Over-Head Cam, is dus Dubbele Bovenliggende Nokkenassen in je cilinderkop. Elke nokkenas heeft hier een klep dus kan die kleppen met meer precisie openen en sluiten zodat er hogere toerentallen en hogere vermogens uit te halen zijn.
