wow... badddd ride:) help!!!

ummm yaaaa not so great ride today. the crashing through the jumps was my fault, out approach was crappy and i kept putting him in a really tight take off spot, so he just kinda stopped and crashed through it!! sorry rio we did get a few good jumps in tho!. oh and when i took him for a ride down the road he through a fit and almost fell in the ditch so ya not the best ride today:) please tell me what else im doing wrong or what i should be doing!! thanksies p.s Jordyn i think your bad luck!

Jenny lol looks like you need some help from coach Lexi :P lol don't worry i was like that when i first started jumping it's taken me a while to be comfortable with cantering jumps and releasing over the fences

One c omment I havent seen posted, try to keep your horse off his front end. If your horse is movign from its hindquarters, it can compensate fo rmissed distances, but if it is moving from its front end, it cannot save you. More leg and work on lightness on the flat

Hahaa It was just a bad day. I have had times my horse wont stride at all. She will have perfect striding and will add another in there just for the hell of it. haha your a lovely rider and maybe try sitting back a bit more before the take off so you dont end up in front of the saddle. xD hahahaha

It Looks Like You Need Work On Your Two-Point(Jump Position). Work On Being Able To Keep Your Body Centered Over Your Horses Withers For Long Periods Of Time. Also Dont Be Afraid To Release Over The Jump. Trust Your Horse And You Will Be Amazed By How Quickly You Improve! Your Obviously A Beginner So Dont Forget That Everyone Starts Out Here. Your Not The Only One For Sure! Lol.
