The Beach Boys featuring Brian Wilson on lead vocals perform "Wouldn't It Be Nice" on their Club Kokomo segment of a Summer Broadcast Series they had called ENDLESS SUMMER in 1989. The series featured several segments that were probably shot over a few days schedule, then edited after the fact over a couple dozen episodes brodcast over the summer. There was the more layed back Club Kokomo concert setting w/ dancers, Live in Concert at a venue & the "Party" Campfire Setting - then they intercut segments w/ other guest musician or comedians.

  • I know this was 1986, but there really is no excuse for Mike Love's pants.

  • @MattTC1028 He is absolutely NOT lip syncing. If he was it would sound perfect which it does not. Brian is a musical genius.

  • very cool vid

  • The original key of this song on record is F... They lowered it here to the key of D.

  • Amazing how long these guys sang...

  • Brian's face looks awkward

  • Brian looks nice and cleaned up here, as well as his voice.

  • @JEH78 lol that is so true. Even at the Grammys he had the "Beach Boys' hat on. I mean who does that? Funny. Like most people I find Mike Love annoying but I was happy to see them all together again.. including Mike.

  • Brian looks so different

  • @enaybler Mike Love still dresses like this in 2012.

  • I hope that, if the beach boys actually do play the grammys this year, that they get a set of 5 songs to sing, while the other modern day no talent jokes get no more than 2 during their sets!

The Beach Boys set list for grammys should be as follows:

    1. California Girls

    2. Sloop John B or Barbara Ann, or Help me Rhonda

    3. Kokomo

    4. Good Vibrations

    5. Wouldnt it be nice or Fun fun fun!

  • Mike Love, back then and even today, looks like one of those old men you'd run into on the shore stumbling around with a metal detector looking for loose change.
