A clip of the water quenching process used by the blacksmith of Balaraw Swords. Swords are differentially heat-treated and water-quenched to bring out a natural hamon. Steel used is 5160, a tough alloy, which is good for tameshigiri. Mario De Guzman uses traditional hand-forging methods as taught to him by a Japanese blacksmith decades ago.
