@REFL0X It still exists,its just harder to find compared to what is pushed by the radio and record labels.The mainstream ideal that music should be an expression of every aspect of the self died with the corporate take over of the radio.People listening to the radio no longer want to hear a song that makes them delve into the depths of themselves to try and figure out what a lyric means to them. They want easy rhyming schemes with simple messages that they can sing to while they text and drive.
