  • @munton5150 Thanks a lot! A brush will give you better control and allows for greater Film thickness.

  • Is it possible to add a second coat to a solid deck stain? like you have done here. I was of the impression that if you add a second coat to a solid deck stain that the second coat will not stick and would either not dry and become sticky, or would come off.

  • @WARFOX101 That's very true of a lot of stains out there, especially oil -based. I'm using Benjamin Moore ArborCoat (waterborne deck and siding stain). Its a newer stain that is superior in performance to conventional stains. It dries fast and re-coating can be rapidly completed.
