do we need feminism?

This video asks whether we still feminism. I think we do, but it's important to understand what feminism is. Feminism is about gaining equality for men and women, and so if you believe that women and men should be paid the same for the same work, you are a supporter of feminism.
I would like to thank The Guardian (a British newspaper) for providing some valuable information that I have used in this video.

Women have less political representation for two reasons 1) women don't run for office at any level as often as men do 2) women don't vote only for other women

With women at 51% of the voting population, it is not men that prevent women from being in the office.

@themaniusedtob No field of academia supports this twisted definition of feminism. None of those things you listed barely happen, and if they do, it is a small percentage. Any area of academia you look to supports feminism, the theories and the notion that male privilege along with white privilege is still prevelant in society and feminism is still very much needed. Look it up in google scholar, you will find what I say holds true.

Male oppression would include the following but NOT limited to; being plastered in the media and/or imprisoned for false allegations of rape with no due process, Charging males with longer prison sentences for the same crime a woman commits, domestic v laws sexist towards men, alimony,p- alienation, child custody etc

What does Feminism have to do with wage gaps? Even the US department of Labor published (CONSAD report, 2009) that there is no discrimination and that the wage gap is due to female choice.

If women want to make more in part-time work, get out of the house or office and into a truck or construction site. Then, women can start to share the workplace mortality and injury rates that men sustain.
