Intro+game+outro (WTF on the outro)...

Oki, recorded this game because I like the music. I have only played the first level before and as it was easy I thought the whole game could be that aswell. Only a couple of tunnel stages were hard. Mission 1 and 5 are horizontal levels and the enemies spew out lots of extra lives, energy, shield and points. So I got 9 lives on the first mission, then lost almost all of them later on the tunnel stages... then thank God came mission 5 and I got 9 lives again... so, the game was easy peasy.

I had some problem with this movie. If the file is automatically splitted by WinUAE when recording (usually does that when the file exceeds 1GB, sound delay stuff appears. This happened on mission 5, so you will notice the sound delay during the first half of the stage, but not the second half, as I could fix that; thus making a huge, but unavoidable sound glitch at 33:45, even the pitch of the sound changes. Had to do delay fixes on some other places aswell, but the sound glitch on mission 5 was the worst one. Another problem was the size of the movie. If I encode it with the standard quality like I use in most of my movies, and other members use in theirs, this movies would have been 750mb!!. This is caused by the heavy scrolling and stuff moving on the screen. I didn't bother encoding the movie in different qualities to find a good size, so did a sure thing instead; encoding it to 320x2XX and lowering the quality. So, the quality sucks... but I don't care that much, it's not worth all the time it would take to encode it several times for a nice balance between quality and size.¨

On a couple of missions my ship where drawn downwards all the time, so I had to press up to keep from crashing, thus making my ship jump up and down, it looks crazy :). But moving sideways made the ship hover, so did that later when I found out.

I could of course have played ALOT better :D... but was my first try.

Oh well, another game completed anyway.

  • It is good graphics as the Amiga only had 2MB ram and that was turbo memory.

Are you playing the game though an Amiga or an Emulator?

  • All our games are played and recorded via WinUAE :)

  • Do you know where i can get this game to play on WinUAE? I have been looking everywhere and I found one with 20 adf files but i can only play 4 at the one time

  • Not 100% sure but google "planetemu" they might have it ;)

  • Not really the best shooter around as it was way too easy and had too monotonous gameplay. But the music was great, made it well worth playing it a few times :)

  • szit

  • BLOW THEM ALL!!!!

  • the shooting and explosions actually fits in with the beat of the music.

  • A game with shooting, great music AND bitches? Not even 50cent can compete with that!

  • Great fast Soundtrack - thanks for posting!

  • This was one of my favourite games later in Amiga's life.

  • Commercial games never use rave techno!
