Peter Davison and his future (ex-)wife in "The Tomorrow People" in April 1975. This was the first time they met and his very first television appearance.

I have to admit, I'm not a fan of the show at all. It's far too silly for my liking and the writing wasn't great either.

  • Ah, poor Davison! This was his first ever television role I believe, and two years later he became the Fifth Doctor on Doctor Who. That was also about the time that Doctor Who was becoming a cult show in America, so when he found out this episode of Tomorrow People had aired there too, he was HORRIFIED. I don't blame him, he was probably terrified someone would remember him from this and bring it up. XDD

  • @GusF That's too bad. It's nice to watch the old Dr. Who episodes of his. :)

  • This is really frightening. It's funny, his bodily mannerisms are just the same, though!

  • Unfortunately, actors cannot really decide what to do and what not to, kudos wise, when they are just starting out - its only when they become established that they pick and choose the cream of work to do, usually derising and refusing to acknowledge what they did earlier - and the readiness with which they did it.

  • I am pretty sure he doesn't want to be reminded that he ever did this.

It's just as bad as the Star Wars holiday special.

Must've been fun to do, though :)
