Yet one more reason why I would never soil my shoes by stepping foot in yankee stadium. Those Jack-booted thugs should be fired, lose their pensions and do some time in jail just on principle. How dare the yankee management desecrate this lovely song that speaks of freedom and fairness by restricting the most intimate of freedoms? How dare they force their audience to sing of fairness while being so unfair? The yankees are a disgrace to baseball and a disgrace to America!

Whether he's telling the truth or not isn't the point. Yankee Stadium does have a policy restricting movement during the song. That's somewhat disturbing in my opinion.

This guy was trying to intentionally set himself up for a lawsuit by turning this into a situation religion.
This guy could probably careless about religion or the song (one way or the other). He saw this as an opportunity to possibly cash in; like a lot of people in our new welfare society, this guy wants "something for nothing".
