Bush's America

George W. Bush is undoubtedly the worst President in U.S. history. Since the tragedy of 911, his republican administration has draped the country in a veil of fear in order to manipulate a hegemonic agenda of resource control and warfare capitalization. Hurricane Katrina proved that Bush and his Republican cronies only care about those who can help them, not about those who need help themselves. Since the invasion of Iraq, over 2700 U.S. troops have been killed and over 20,000 wounded. Not to mention over 45,000 Iraqi civilian deaths - 15 times more innocent casualties than claimed in the 911 attacks. The U.S. regime is terroristic just as much as the Taliban, only our viewpoint as U.S. citizens keeps us from viewing it as such. Imagine if you were awoken at night to the sound of your village exploding from faceless U.S. missiles, or if you feared never seeing your father again because he was being held captive in a U.S. war prison without due process rights, being subjected to objectification, sexual torture and inhumane treatment. We, as an industrialized electorate, need to wake up and realize our role as the most powerful nation in the world and utilize that power for good and peace, not for our own false doctrine of self-protectionism.
