The banned video from the "Jonathan Ross Show" Christmas show, due to the producers thinking it was inappropriate for TV broadcast.

  • a sad inditement of the society we live in when we have to pander to the feelings of a bunch of overly-sensitive deluded idiots. There is nothing in the least bit offensive in this song, what a joke

  • What is wrong with this?

This was fantastic,if was about another religion ITV would be showing it,this country has become weak.

  • I thought they learned their lesson with Monty Python's "Life of Brian". But no, religious censorship still exists today. Its sad.

  • Couldn't really focus on the song after Mr Minchin quoted "with great power comes great responsibilty" and then went on to say Superman Jesus.

Perhaps it's the Spiderman he just misquothed (hehe) but that was the ONLY thing that was remotely offensive in this song. Otherwise loved the work yet again

OMG ... What a geek that guy is^^

  • bbc and itv are just the same.... need to grow a man size pair and start being creative inventive and cutting edge with comedy. but its never going to happen as they churn out the same formula drivel period costume dramas and strictly come celebrity jungle dross to entertain the mouth breathers.

  • Tim Minchin is phenomenally talented. This did not offend me one iota.

  • Why do the pious sensibilities of christians need protecting like this? If their sky fairy really does exist, surely he would just strike down Tim and people like me who thank him for pointing out the blindingly obvious - i.e. there's no such feckn thing as god. It's a disgrace that religious censorship still exists in the 21st century. And the fact that it does says so much about the insecurities of those who still believe in the supernatural twaddle that continues to stifle humanity.

  • Oh God this should have been aired. It's fantastic.

  • "God will Not be Mocked", just wait and see.

  • This is so inoffensive, it did not deserve to be chopped for 'editorial' reasons. No wonder Tim is raging about it. I would be as well.

  • Tuh, gaaawd so unrealistic... Jesus wouldn't be Ginger.
