Cyclopsis is an evil zord piloted by Goldar. It is obviously THE most powerful foe the rangers ever had to face in the first season. They fought this zord a total of two times and in both battles it was defeated by the Ultrazord. Sadly in Mighty Morphing Power Rangers for the Super Nintendo Entertainment system you do not have access to Ultrazord, and are forced too battle it out with the tried and true Megazord. The battle before Cyclopsis is fairly simple, it becomes a cake walk when you compare it to Cyclopsis itself.
He's cheap, plain and simple. He'll blast you endlessly with energy if you let him, and he jumps around WAY too much. He attacks faster than you, so if he does get behind you you're probably going to get hit before you can even turn around, and his defense is also ridiculous when you consider the offense he brings to the table. And if that weren't enough once you beat him he pulls the oldschool boss card out his ass and TRANSFORMS.
He was beaten twice in the show, he had to be rebuilt after the first defeat.
He doesn't get rebuilt in the game, he simply grows his two horns and wrist mounted blades and recharges his ENTIRE ENERGY BAR. Which is a swift kick to the nuts if you let him get you down to low health in the first battle. It's the same fight really, he's just back at full health and a bit quicker, and lets not forget that shield which drains your energy attacks and powers him up.
This game was fun, but this boss can screw off for crying out loud. That or we should get the Ultrazord.
And was anyone else disturbed by the lack of the Green Ranger and the Dragonzord?
Also Zach ladies and gentlemen.
