This video was inspired by Apple Computer's "Think Different" advertising campaign. It showed various people from the 20th century who made a difference, but for some strange reason they forgot U2. So, I made a version of the TV commerical using footage from U2's career.
"Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the trouble makers. The round pegs in the square holes, the ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them, because they change things, they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do."

  • @niamhorourke the audio is from the original Apple "Think Different" commercial. Yes, I think it's Richard Dreyfuss.

  • @hjw3001 Who's your narrator? Sounds uncannily like Richard Dreyfuss? I've had this in my collection since it was released - you have my everlasting thanks.

  • "This should be a real commerical...I LOVE YOU U2!"

Legally, it can't be. The audio is already from an Apple ad.

  • more like a frog

  • Great add for the greatest band IN THE UNIVERSE!

  • Unfortunately I no longer have the high res version.

  • Is it possible to get a high quality version of this? I could pay for shipping a CD or something like that.

  • I made the video back in 1998, so POP Mart was the most recent :)
