At slaughter, the birds' throats are slit and they are dropped into tanks of scalding-hot water—often while they are still conscious. It would be illegal for KFC to abuse dogs, cats, pigs, or cows in these ways.

KFC's own animal welfare advisors have asked the company to take steps to eliminate these abuses, but KFC refuses to do so. Many advisors have now resigned in frustration.

You don't understand...there is a difference between a Lion tearing up a Gazelle to survive, and a human going to KFC to have some good food that isn't at all necessary. I'm not saying we should go to the bare minimum to survive, but this is too much. Surely you can see that killing live animals by putting them through scolding hot water is cruel...or by keeping thousands of chickens cooped up with no room to move is just cruel.

watch a lion tearing up a gazell, or a shark tearing up a seal, it's not a pleasant site, but its how the world works, the higher up in the foodchain eats the lower.
