This tour de force through 5000 yeaes of media history is crowned by it's latest successor - Photoshop.

From Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics of 2800 BC to the Gutenberg Bible, followed by a victorian postcard of a Photographer to the invention of the moving pictures.

The concept of this spot is to show the possibilities of media technology in our culture, culminating into photoshop. Being made in distict chapters, which all start and end on a white frame, it can be cut down to one, two, three or all four chapters.

While preserving their own distinct style, the chapters are tied together by a unified color palette. The sound design emphasizes the concept. In every chapter, the sound increases in intensity and level of detail.

If you look close, you will find a little bit of Photoshop in all history.

The used images are copyright-free because of being older then 70 (100) years.
