This song means really a lot to me. In 2011, I had hives just before Christmas. I would cry and curl up and feel miserable for about three to four days. Around that period, Taylor released Safe and Sound and the moment I heard it, I had goosebumps. Goosebumps are a sign that music is good.

I cried even harder when Taylor sang, "Just close your eyes, the sun is going down. You'll be alright, no-one can hurt you now." Because when she sang it, it was perfect. It was beautiful. I could almost feel Taylor beside me, protecting me so that nobody could hurt me.

Thank you, Taylor, for every single song you've sung and for all the times you've helped me and I will love you forever.
